Following studies in the United Kingdom where I read law at the University of Bristol graduating with a dissertation titled “The emancipation from the Privy Council as a means to achieve national legal autonomy: a case study of Canada”; I was called to the Bar of England and Wales by Gray’s Inn in 2020 and subsequently admitted to the Mauritian Bar in September 2022. I obtained a Diplôme Universitaire en droit mauricien with mention ‘bien’, coming third of the class with a dissertation titled “L’autorité parentale en droit mauricien: régime légal, application par la Cour Suprême et possibles innovations du Children’s Act.”
