Assas Alumni Networking Event in Singapore: Launching a New CommunityAcross Asia
On 16 April 2026, the Singapore Campus of Paris-Panthéon-Assas will host a landmark evening: the first Assas Alumni Community event in Singapore.
More than a gathering, it marks the beginning of a new chapter, bringing together alumni, students, and the wider Assas network in one of Asia’s most dynamic hubs. This event is designed as the first step in building a stronger regional community—creating opportunities for connection, exchange, and long-term engagement across Asia.

About the Keynote

Dr Amalia Diurni
Full Professor of Comparative and Private Law
Visiting Professor
The keynote by Amalia Diurni will explore user vulnerability in generative AI systems, focusing on how individuals interact with large learning and reasoning models through standardised terms of use.
It will examine how these contractual frameworks—often complex, opaque, and non- negotiable—shape the relationship between users and AI providers, particularly in terms of data use, liability, and responsibility.
The discussion will highlight the growing asymmetry between technological systems and end-users, and reflect on how EU digital law and private law theory can help address emerging forms of digital vulnerability in the age of AI.
A first gathering, a shared space, and the start of a connected Assas community in Asia.
