What have they become? Magdalena Krzysztoporska

A few words about my background

I am an advocate and Senior Associate at Domański Zakrzewski Palinka (DZP), one of the largest Polish law firms, where I specialise in arbitration and litigation.  I have experience in international commercial and investment arbitration, as well as domestic arbitration proceedings, across a range of sectors. I also remain actively involved in the international arbitration community through initiatives such as Young ICCA, ICC programmes, and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

My LL.M. experience at Assas  and the key steps of my career since graduation

The LL.M. AWArDS programme combines academic excellence with a strong practical focus on international arbitration. Classes taught by leading Paris-based practitioners and hosted within renowned international law firms offered valuable insight into the realities of arbitral practice.

What particularly distinguished the programme was its focus on arbitration across specialised sectors, including construction, energy, sports, and M&A disputes, while addressing the specific procedural and strategic aspects of each type of dispute.

Studying in Paris added another unique dimension to the experience. As one of the world’s leading and most frequently selected seats of arbitration, Paris offers an inspiring and internationally minded environment for anyone seeking to build a career in dispute resolution. Being immersed in such a dynamic arbitration community was both professionally and personally enriching.
