Paris-Campus – LL.M. International Business Law Students Visit the French Senate

At the invitation of Mr. Loïc Hervé, Senator of Haute-Savoie and Vice-President of the French Senate, the LL.M. International Business Law students from the University Paris Panthéon-Assas had the opportunity to visit the upper house of the French Parliament last Tuesday.

Mr. Jean Pouch, adviser to the Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces Committee, explained to the students the legislative role of the Senate as well as the major historical stages of its development. The students also had the chance to sit in the hemicycle, where several senators were debating a new bill on organ donation.
