Connecting Across Campuses: Assas Alumni Meet in Singapore
On 16 April, the Singapore campus of Paris-Panthéon-Assas University hosted its first Alumni Community Event, bringing together graduates of the LL.M. International Business Law and LL.M International Construction Contract programmes, current students and Assas Paris alumni based in Singapore.
Alumni from the LL.M. International Business Law and LL.M. International Construction Contracts programmes of the Singapore Campus attended the event, alongside graduates from Paris currently residing in Singapore, who were specifically invited for the occasion. Their presence reinforced connections across the global Assas community. They were joined by current LL.M. International Business Law students.
The evening began with a welcome reception, followed by a keynote lecture delivered by Professor Dr Amalia Diurni on “Human Vulnerability in the Algorithmic Age”, exploring the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence and law. Discussions then continued during a networking cocktail, widely praised for the quality of exchanges between students and alumni.
This event is part of a broader collective effort led across all Assas international campuses to strengthen engagement with alumni and foster a truly global community. It echoes the landmark gathering held in Paris on 26 March 2026, which brought together alumni from the university’s four campuses : Paris, Singapore, Mauritius, and Dubai – to celebrate its international development and shared identity.
With more than 100,000 alumni worldwide and a growing international presence, these initiatives aim to reinforce connections between graduates across regions and encourage them to actively engage with the Assas Alumni network.
The Singapore event therefore marks another important step in building a connected, dynamic, and international alumni community and in inviting all graduates to be part of the Assas Alumni network.
Join the Assas Alumni Community
Graduates are invited to stay connected through the official Assas Alumni network, which brings together the global Assas International community.
The PALASS (Paris Alumni LL.M. Assas) group is now available on the platform, offering a dedicated space for LL.M. alumni to reconnect with peers, expand their professional network, and stay informed about events and initiatives across the international campuses.
How to join:
1. Access the Assas Alumni Network – https://www.assas-alumni.com/en
- You may receive an invitation email from Assas Alumni (this is a legitimate message).
- Alternatively, you can register directly via the platform by entering your full name and date of birth, then creating your password to log in.
- The website can be viewed in English using the language option at the bottom left of the page.
- Once your account is created, please contact Nathalie Olivier to validate your access.
2. Join the PALASS Group
- After validation, log in to your account and go to “My Groups” in the left-hand menu.
- Select PALASS (Paris Alumni LL.M. Assas) and click “Accept the invitation.”
You will then be part of the PALASS LL.M. alumni community within the Assas Alumni network.
