Speaker’s Profile

Camille Mayet

Of Counsel – Stephenson Harwood

Camille Mayet is an Of Counsel in the Ethics, Investigations & Criminal Defense practice at Stephenson Harwood, based in Paris and advising clients globally.

She focuses on complex cross-border white-collar, enforcement and compliance matters, with deep, market-recognised expertise in economic sanctions, export controls, anti-money laundering and anti-corruption.

Camille regularly assists multinational companies, financial institutions and high-risk sector clients in navigating EU, US (OFAC), Chinese and multi-jurisdictional sanctions regimes, assessing extraterritorial exposure, and designing pragmatic, risk-based compliance frameworks. Her export control experience includes classification and licensing of dual-use goods and technologies, transactional due diligence, and the development of robust internal controls for global supply chains.

She also has substantial experience conducting and resolving international internal investigations—from fact-finding and stakeholder management to the assessment of criminal, administrative and civil risks, and the design of strategic responses to authorities across jurisdictions.

A member of the Paris Bar, Camille advises clients worldwide and is accustomed to supporting organizations operating in Europe and Asia on high-stakes, sensitive compliance challenges.

(adoption process, applicability, nature, exceptions, relating risks, fight against circumvention, focus on Russian and Iranian economic sanctions programs, etc.)

Part 2: Introduction to Export Controls regulations
(Key definitions, applicability, nature, competent, authorities, focus on export controls hot topics (e.g. U.S. Affiliate Rule vs Chinese Rare Earth Export Controls)

Part 3: Key points of an efficient Economic Sanctions and Export Controls internal compliance program (do’s and don’ts, policies and processes, due diligence procedure, training, contractual undertakings, etc.)

Fees:
