Boris Martor

Partner at Twobirds – Paris

Partner in charge of the Finance Group in France and co-manager of Twobird’s Casablanca office, Boris Martor advises investment funds, banks, sponsors and public entities on structuring, awarding and financing projects in the energy, infrastructure and automotive sectors in Europe and Africa. With over 28 years’ experience in major projects and financing, he is involved in both equity and debt financing, with a strong public sector focus.

His experience covers the structuring of PPP transactions, project financing, the creation of joint ventures (JVs), as well as advice on corporate law, financing law, and public and regulatory law. Since the beginning of his career, Boris Martor has been involved in the energy (renewable energy, oil & gas), water, transport and telecommunications sectors, as well as in the mining sector, covering mining and quarrying issues. More recently, he has been involved in the energy transition, tackling issues linked to securing mines and quarries.

In particular, Boris Martor has developed a business supporting industry players in the manufacture, recycling and logistics of the infrastructure required for the development of electric batteries. Having developed an extensive practice in Africa and advised numerous companies in over 50 countries across the continent, Boris Martor also participated in the creation of the first pan-African diploma on OHADA law, applicable in 17 African countries.
