Coralie Darrigade

Visiting Lecturer – Partner, GBS Disputes

Coralie Darrigade is a founding partner of Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes and is highly regarded as “a prominent figure in the industry.” Before establishing her current firm, she was a partner at Shearman & Sterling LLP, where she practiced for over twenty years.

Throughout her career, she has represented corporations, states, and state-owned entities in a wide array of investor-state and commercial arbitrations, working under the ICC, SCC, ICSID, and UNCITRAL Rules, among others. Her expertise in commercial arbitration spans various sectors, including construction, energy, oil and gas, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and commercial disputes related to sales and supply agreements.

Coralie has significant experience in industries such as oil and gas, energy (both nuclear and renewable), chemicals, media, retail, and defense.

She is frequently recognized in Who’s Who Legal – Arbitration, where she is noted as “a leading figure in the international arbitration arena,” praised for her “impeccable work ethic,” strategic thinking, and exceptional legal talent.
