A Welcome Breakfast for LL.M. Students at the Paris Campus

In October 2026, Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas hosted its traditional welcome breakfast for approximately 90 new international students from its four LL.M. programmes at the Paris campus: European Law, International Business Law, Public Law and Democracy, and AWArDS.

The students were welcomed by Nathalie Olivier, Head of the International Degrees & Campuses Unit, who highlighted the international diversity that is one of the programmes’ key strengths. This year, the four cohorts bring together students representing 29 countries, creating a diverse academic community with perspectives from across Europe and beyond.

Students come from 29 countries, including Germany, the United States, Belgium, Brazil, India, Turkey, Greece, China, Finland, Austria, Uruguay, Chile, the Philippines, Poland, Sweden, Canada, Taiwan, Paraguay, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Morocco, Serbia, Italy, Nigeria and Spain, reflecting the international diversity of the LL.M. community. The breakfast provided an opportunity for students to meet their peers, exchange experiences and establish connections across the four cohorts as they began their academic journey in Paris. Beyond the classroom, these interactions help foster a sense of community among students from different cultural, national and legal backgrounds.

The event also highlighted the role of student engagement in campus life through a presentation of PALS, the LL.M. student association. Launched two years ago, the association offers students an opportunity to contribute to the life of the LL.M. community and help shape activities for their peers.

As the 2025–2026 board prepares to pass the torch to the incoming 2026–2027 team, students were encouraged to stand for election and take an active role in the association.

Through this annual tradition, Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas welcomes its new LL.M. students while celebrating the international diversity, shared experiences and student involvement that enrich academic life at the Paris campus.
