Andreas Kallergis

Associate Professor

Andreas Kallergis is associate professor (maître de conférences) of public law in the Pantheon-Sorbonne University since September 2017. Prior to this, Andreas was a research and teaching associate at the universities Pantheon-Sorbonne and Paris Nanterre and a post-doctoral researcher at the Pantheon-Sorbonne University.His research work and teaching covers International Tax Law, Public Finance Law, Public International Law and Constitutional Law.

Andreas is the director of the program in French-English law between the Pantheon-Sorbonne Universityand the Queen Mary University of London and the deputy director of the Master Program in Public Finance Law of the Pantheon-Sorbonne University. He acts as rapporteur forthe International Law Association (Study Group for International Tax Law)and for the French-Germanresearch project « Bilateral cooperation as an instrument of harmonization in the field of direct company taxation », financed by the Agence nationale de la recherche in France and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft in Germany.

Andreas defended his PhD dissertation on the topic « La compétencefiscale » (Jurisdiction to Tax) in December 2016, published as a book by Dallozin 2018. The book has been awarded a mention at the Mitchell B. Carroll Prize of the International Fiscal Association, the International Law Association (French Branch) Prize, the French Society of Public Finance Prize, the French Court of Auditors Special Prize, the Sorbonne Tax Thesis Prize, the Pantheon-Sorbonne University Prize, the DallozPrizeand theLévy-Ullmann Prize of the Chancellerie des Universités de Paris.
