Imaan Bundhun-Puddoo

Barrister – Tutorials – Law of Contract

Imaan read a dual English and French Law degree at the University of Exeter, and holds a Master 1 in European Law from the Université de Rennes 1 and l’École Normale Supérieure de Rennes. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2019, and subsequently to the Bar of Mauritius in 2020. She has since been a tenant at the Chambers of Sir Hamid Moollan KC. She has appeared before all the Mauritian courts, as well as some tribunals. She has wide practice on both civil and criminal cases. Imaan also recently completed the Diplôme Universitaire on Mauritian Civil Law conducted by the Université de la Réunion in partnership with the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies (IJLS). She submitted her mémoire on the Application of the Hague Convention on the civil aspects of international child abduction in Mauritius.
