LL.M. International Business Law – Paris and Singapore campuses exchange programme

A group of students from the LLM International Business Law program in Paris took advantage of the opportunity offered to spend one month of their academic year on exchange at the Singapore campus. Marie Fissore, a student from Paris, reflects on this unforgettable experience.

“Having the opportunity to be part of the exchange program to Singapore was truly one of the highlights of my LL.M. journey, it’s an experience I will carry with me forever, both professionally and personally.

Living in a place so different from what I was used to allowed me to grow in many ways. Singapore is a vibrant and modern city, where cultures meet and coexist beautifully. It gave me the feeling that everything and everyone is organized and has a place to be. From the buzzing food markets to the peaceful green spaces, every corner has something to offer. But more than that, it’s a place that teaches you about discipline, innovation, and diversity.

Studying in Assas International, located in the INSEAD campus was a privilege. The energy of the place, the quality of the courses, and the openness to explore new ideas made it incredibly enriching. We were lucky to be taught by professors who are not only brilliant academics but also inspiring practitioners who have built truly international careers — something I deeply aspire to.

What made this exchange even more special was the human connection. Spending time with fellow students outside of our usual routines created a unique bond. We learned from each other, shared laughter over meals, and discovered new places together. Singapore’s location also gave us the chance to explore nearby countries during weekends, adding even more depth to the experience.

This exchange was not only about studying abroad, it was about discovering a new rhythm of life, challenging my perspectives, and making memories that will stay with me for a long time. I’m deeply grateful for it.”
