LL.M. International Business Law – Paris Students Welcomed at Dechert Paris

As part of the International Intellectual Property Law course delivered by Olivia Bernardeau-Paupe, the LL.M. International Business Law students of Paris-Panthéon-Assas University in Paris had the opportunity to take part in a dedicated academic session hosted by Dechert Paris. This initiative reflects the collaboration between the University and the international firm, aimed at enhancing students’ exposure to real-world legal practice.

During the session, students explored the key challenges faced by brands today, from the increasingly complex landscape of digital markets to the globalisation of trademark protection strategies. The discussions provided valuable insights into how leading firms approach intellectual property matters and how theory translates into concrete legal work.

This collaborative engagement aligns with the University’s commitment to bridging academic learning with professional realities. By bringing students into direct contact with practitioners, Assas university aims to equip future legal professionals with both rigorous academic foundations and an informed understanding of contemporary practice.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Dechert Paris for its continued support and for contributing to the professional development of our students. Our thanks also go to Olivia Bernardeau-Paupe for creating such enriching learning opportunities.
