Alliance 4EU+ : First participation of Paris-Panthéon-Assas university in the annual 4EU+ meeting in Milan
The meeting took place at the University of Milan under the theme #BuildingBridges – Becoming One European University.
On July 1st 2023, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University marked its entry as the 8th member of the 4EU+ Alliance, joining eminent institutions such as Charles University in Prague (Czech Republic), Heidelberg (Germany), Geneva (Switzerland), Warsaw (Poland), Milan (Italy), Copenhagen (Denmark), and Sorbonne University. This membership aims to actively contribute to the creation of a leading European university dedicated to research and innovation, fostering the free movement of people, ideas, and practices.
The 4EU+ community gathered at the University of Milan from November 7th to 9th during the 2023 Annual Alliance Meeting. Since the launch of 4EU+ in 2019, member institutions have joined forces to build an interuniversity campus, establishing connections between communities and disciplines through research and education.
This year, the annual meeting was marked by exchanges, meetings, and in-depth discussions on essential themes such as:
- How to become a unified European university?
- The crucial role of universities in reinventing the European future.
- Building bridges/connections between higher education institutions from different countries and strengthening synergies between university missions.
A delegation from the university, including President Stéphane Braconnier, vice-presidents, as well as directors and staff responsible for 4EU+ affairs, participated in the annual meeting, each engaging with their European counterparts in the various working groups held over the three days.
