Study trip to Luxembourg for the LL.M. European Law students
Accompanied by Professor Emmanuelle Chevreau, students of the LL.M. in European Law program took their studies beyond the lecture rooms of the Institut de Droit Comparé in Paris with a visit to the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) in Luxembourg.
The trip combined theory and practice, beginning with a day of case study discussions at the Academy of European Law (ERA) in Trier with référendaires (law clerks) from the Court. The following day at the CJEU, students attended a case hearing, toured the Court, and met with judges from both the General Court and the Court of Justice, gaining valuable first-hand insights into the functioning of the EU’s legal system.
Beyond academics, the group explored Trier, visited the Christmas market, and enjoyed traditional dinners, making the visit both educational and cultural.
