Paris Campus – Promoting Arbitration and Investment Law at the French Residence in Sri Lanka
On 16 January 2025, Professor Malik Laazouzi, a leading expert in arbitration and international contracts, delivered an insightful lecture at the Residence of France in Colombo. Invited by H.E. Marie-Noëlle Duris, Chargé d’Affaires a.i./Acting Ambassador of France in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, this exclusive event gathered distinguished guests, including members of the legal and diplomatic communities.
The lecture, titled “Arbitration as a Tool to Protect Foreign Investments in Sri Lanka from a French Perspective”, explored how arbitration can strengthen Sri Lanka’s growing economy while enhancing its position in the global investment landscape.
