Terry Jowree winner of the French Speech Contest « Concours d’éloquence Francophonie » 2020
This contest is aimed at secondary and higher education students in Mauritius
The Concours d’éloquence Francophonie is a speech contest organized jointly in Mauritius by the Ministry of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Mauritius, the French Ambassy and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie.
This year, Terry Jowree won the first prize for higher education students.
Terry Jowree graduated from High School in February 2019 as a laureate (Arts side) from the Collège du Saint Esprit, following an English (Cambridge HSC) curriculum.
In September 2019, Terry Jowree joined the Bachelor of Laws LL.B. (Hons) offered by Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas University in Mauritius, a programme entirely taught in English by professors from the Paris campus and renowned Mauritian law practitioners.
Professor Anthony Mergey, Dean of the Bachelor of Laws LL.B.
